It doesn't matter if you or I buy in to it. What matters is how many other people will buy in to it and what they will do when the time comes. What is interesting to me is that it really is a time of astrological significance. The Mayans based their calendar on the allignment of the universe (pretty good for not having MF'n space stations!), and their calendar comes to a screeching halt next December when everything lines up. And Nostredamis said so!

Don't worry about cars, generators, camp stoves, and phones and 'puters that stuff will be useless. You better have a way to collect and store energy and a way to collect and treat water.
