Who knows? Maybe he's just speculating. 2A has come out and said that his will retail at $1350. Not sure if he has room to "wholesale" them to other dealers interested in selling them or not.
Bret also came out and said that his will be more than FA's. So a $950 MSRP from FA isn't impossible. Bret has to use the CW FCU while from the looks of it FA is using the M17/18 FCU. Bret has a custom slide while it appears that FA is using a Sig optics ready slide. I can see FA's price being well below 2A's.Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

That would be the price for a "standard" P320. FA's CA320 appears to be made on the M17/18 FCU and has an optics ready slide. Those guns go for more than $600. Probably closer to $700. So if they really have an MSRP of $950, the street price could be a bit less. So you could really be into an M17/18 class pistol for about $1K. Sure it's more than the free state model, but it's way less than what the flippers here on CG are asking for even a basic P320.Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Right. Bud's gun shop is listing an optics ready P320 for $650. Shipped to a CA FFL + the transfer fee would place you into the $700+ range. So essentially your delta is closer to around $200. Totally agree that is worth the cost compared to what Calguns marketplace is selling optics ready P320's at. CA320 will drag P320 and FCU marketplace pricing down quite a bit. This is by far the best way to get your hands on the P320 platform if you are not roster exempt. I'm on board. The modularity of the P320 is the most attractive feature to me. It will probably take a year or so for Franklin Armory to meet initial demand. I expect them to be sold out on the first few production runs. And let's be real here, FA isn't going to scale like Sig so expecting a $650 MSRP for the CA320 is just not realistic. That would be the price for a "standard" P320. Exactly! And!! Sig didn't pay to get it tested and listed on the roster. FA did! They have to recover that cost on their own. Now the listing fee is only a couple of hundred dollars. I have now idea how much the testing cost. $5K? $10K? $20K? But that money needs to be added into their cost. And they have to figure that cost into a realistic production run over a realistic time frame.Right. Bud's gun shop is listing an optics ready P320 for $650. Is there even such thing as a 320 compact in 10mm? If so I’d be interested. I know I would have to do a little part swapping to the FCU, but that’s fine. Price doesn’t bother me much, but I don’t think SIG has gotten to that point of compact 10s so I may be out of luck. Who knows when the roster will fall, this gives us an option in the interim.Last edited by SigSauerP226; 01-13-2023, 7:00 PM.Comment

Slide being 3.9"
