Yes, the "stripped" 9mm/10mm FCUs are IDENTICAL!

As mentioned a few posts back, two parts need to be swapped in a 9mm FCU to use 10mm, takedown safety lever and slide catch. SIG builds the X-TEN with the same length ejector as the 9mm FCUs. 45 FCUs utilize a shortened ejector, but otherwise identical.

(Obviously grip, slide, recoil spring, barrel and mag is also required)

We work with P320s daily, building 9mm, 10 and 45.

why? If I were Sig I would not. Sig would make the same, if not more money selling 90% of the gun to FA, for maybe $350-$400. New SIG P320 retails at about $500. Sig will sell it in bulk, no packaging, no marketing, and may be NO WARRANTY. FA puts on grips, and doubles the price.

This is a FA gun, so I don't see how SIG would provide warranty services on these.

Who warranties it (legally) will likely boil down to who paid the FET on it because once you take the Franklin grip off of it and stick a Sig grip on it, how can you even tell it's a Franklin anymore?

I can't tell from the photos posted yet if it's using a sig serialized (and therefore FET paid) fire control module of if Franklin is having Sig do special serial numbers and Franklin is paying the FET after assembly into a finished firearm or if Franklin is making the fire control modules itself and therefore paying the FET.

Wilson Combat has custom serial number FCU from Sig as well, so Sig is able to do custom serial number as long as they can make money.

Awesome work, FA! For anyone complaining about the need of purchasing a new grip module, I can almost guarantee every p320 owner has gone through at least 2 different modules looking for the right one. This is no different. Sig’s standard grips sucked! The x series grips were GREAT…. Until Wilson released theirs!

Pretty sure they are. AFAIK the .45 fcu is the only one that is different, and even that only requires slight modification if you have a 9mm and want to switch to .45.
