Rodralig, your wife is gonna have a sweet gun...once she gets dialed in, the good gear will just let her focus on good shooting. The NP3 slide too I see! She can bring your MOS as a backup gun for class.

Love the Trijicon SROs on this discussion! I have one I've used on a 22 and AR with great success. My only other optic pistol has the RMR. If I can obtain another glock one day, lol, I would love to put the SRO on it..or a holosun.

My Suarez Glock 19 RMR slide has fit in every glock 19 holster I've used. Bladetech, Bravo, Dara, Raven, and LAG. I think my Dara and Raven were fitted with surefire xc1-b if I recall correctly. The LAG is my current holster fitted for an X300.

Please excuse the naked grip. I'm in between Talon grips at the moment. Last granulate one fell off and a replacement one has been sitting on the dinner table for the whole covid crisis waiting to be put on.

I showed her the photos! She is looking forward to her pistol... And since it is NP3 - it will give a different look for her pistol compared to mine.

That said - you are absolutely correct - having the red dot will have her more focus on her shooting and getting hits!

Why would anybody buy a Suarez slide after the lunatic loaded up his truck with guns to go on a killing spree against his former employer/LAPD.

            Based on information at hand...

I got into firearms mid-2016. Gabe Suarez's crime or whatever happened in early 2000, which I happened to know only yesterday. What do you want me to do? Return/cancel my order for $400?

Nope. Nothing against you at all. I just fail to comprehend how he was able to keep his guns and reputation in the firearm industry.

Well, now that I know what he did - I am curious as well...

People forget? Not much coverage? Or it has been a long time (close to 2-decades)...?

If I wanted an RMR on my Glock 19 I would sell my Gen 3 and buy one of the Gen 4 or 5 MOS from the MP when COVID19 die down. I've seen people try to sell a 'custom Glock' on here, unless they are willing to eat the entire loss of the milling+finish then chances are they are going to have to let it sit there for a while.

Any one know any precut slide for Shield/DPP/407k/507k? Seems everyone only making RMR cut right now?

The Suarez slide with a HS407C and a CA magwell doesn't look bad at all...

Just waiting for the Loctite to cure, then it is to the range tomorrow for slide break-in and optic zeroing...

That said - the slide doesn't seem to be new... Or if it is new, quality is not as par as I expected. There were a few blemishes on the slide (silver/gray color) and a small scratch (crack? dent?) on top of one of the rear serrations.

To be clear, these are just cosmetics, with the pistol eventually becoming such with use - I don't really mind. But, just a bit "hhhmmm" for something new...

                        Dang you, A.....nice set up

Now you got me thinking of either milling my G34.3 or getting an aftermarket slide with an optic cut for it......OR take TomT’s advice and get another MOS

I love my G19.5 MOS.....I have 3 handguns with red dots....would only be right to do the G34.

                        .

                          Hahaha!!!

Thank you... Thank you... I think it did come out good - I didn't want to mill the OEM slide, so opted for a pre-cut one.

The good thing with the pricier $$$ Suarez slide is that it has tighter tolerances than stock. You could definitely feel the fit. It feels a bit heavier, too. Could it be the OEM 4140 slide compared to a 17-4? That, with a direct mount - no need to worry about the MOS plates/screws failing.

Definitely the magwell for the Wife - so it helps with her reloads (I, personally, don't need a magwell). Then the optic - I originally intended to use my 3.25MOA RMR06, but felt, that the HS407C 8.0MOA circle would be more suited to her use cases (10-yards and in).

Except for the guide rod assembly which is an ISMI with 15# - internals are stock OEM, albeit, the trigger assembly are polished (no change in geometry). A TLR7 WML completes the setup.

That said, I think I got bitten by the Carry Optic bug - I had the polymer Q5 with a Leupold DPP for at least year. Never really got into it; now the 5.0MOA SRO on my match G34 MOS Gen 5, and with a leftover RMR06 (which will be going to the home defense G21SF).

One thing though - depending on how the break-in proceeds and how the Suarez performs - I may replace my G34 MOS Gen 5 with a Gen 3 frame and a Suarez slide... I hope that I don't regret getting the G34.5 MOS, though (albeit at pre-COVID cost). You definitely need to setup your G34 with an RDS, as well!

I took another photo this morning (unfortunately, am not really a photographer, so...)

The only one I have experience with is Zev, but I would definitely recommend them
