Sig vs Glock

I wonder why SIG and everyone else made a Glock copy? You don't see Glock making a CZ clone or Sig knock-off. Hmmmm.

SIG sure doesn't think Glock's suck, ahahahah.

They aren't all horrible compared to the original though.

I really like the Walther Glocks and the CZ Glocks.

i would say both would survive more rounds than most people that don't complete would shoot in a lifetime.
while i only own sa/da sigs, one of them 28 years old, i would suggest the one you shoot better.

Agreed, the one that feels more comfortable and that you shoot consistently better. Fit and finish of a sig is of higher quality so you get what you pay for. Barrel and rifling is different too. As far as wear and tear, I bet you can find all sorts of stories of glocks and sigs breaking. Sigs get the nod for me considering the above but there are far more other characteristics of a firearm I take into consideration such as comfort, which you shoot better, configuration, sights, etc etc

Both guns will outlast you, your kids, grandkids. Keep the Glock and save for the Sig. Once you get the Sig, save up for an HK. Once you get the HK, save up for a custom 1911 like a SA Pro, WC CQB, NHC GRP.

I have a gen2 G19 and a Sig SP2022. Both are accurate, but I shoot the sig slightly better.

Buy the SIG and keep the 19, they are both great guns. I love my SIG P226, but I also love my Glock 26. Both SIG and Glock are awesome and reliable, you just need to get your hands on whatever and use it a lot and you'll get used to it. Both guns are more than accurate enough for what they were designed for. If you're looking for super accuracy, stop looking at combat guns. Even then, my amateur butt can ring 100 yd steel with my P226 (it's a .40) with ease. When I first got my Glock the grip angle was different, but the more I used it, I adapted to it and now it's more my norm. Now when I bring my Glocks (20SF and 26) up, the sights align more naturally than my SIG, but I CCW my 26 so I practice drawing and dry fire it a lot and my 226 is more just a range gun now.

In all honesty I want to try a HK P2000sk LEM... There are so many great guns now, just get a good one and handle it and shoot it a bunch and it will be great for you.

The sig is way better, but keep the glock. I love having a glock as a beater gun that you can also rely on.

it comes down to preference. get what you like and what feels comfortable in your hand.

What he said. I had a Beretta Brigadier Inox that I really liked but shot way better with my friend's P226, sold the Beretta, and got into Sigs. I had another friend with an array of Glocks, they just did not feel as good and I did not shoot them as well as the Sigs, which was a bummer because Glocks are a lot less money. On the other hand, he shot and liked his Glocks better than my Sigs.

Should I sell my Glock 19 and buy a Sig all metal. Will a Sig be as durable as Glock or more.
Can a Sig out live a Glock ? I find that a Sig 226 9mm is far more than accurate over Glock. What's your experience?

I would say a Sig MAY be more accurate than a Glock, but either one is more accurate than you are. Or me for that matter. To answer the question though, keep the Glock and get the Sig.

my wife and i have the same mind when it comes to this. we have revolvers and glocks. we tried to like them but in the end, sold them and when with sig. now i don't hear her complain anymore but love shooting them. she cares more about comfortable in handling it than anything else.

I'll admit that every gun in my safe is more accurate than I am. Even those with fixed sights. That just makes me want to improve.
