No Nothing out of the ordinary, pretty straight forward. I was supersized it comes in a plastic hard case instead of a card board box. My LGS said the Franklin Rep. told them there was no way to add a gas tube to the stock configuration.

the barrel does not have a gas hold drilled.

the only way to make it semi-auto is to swap barrel, send out stock barrel to be drilled or swap uppers.


i'm going to swap uppers myself as it is the quickest way and i can keep the stock bolt action upper untouched.

Kinda of pricey since I made my own pistol out of 80% but at least theres way to get a pistol now

For the record, we already got 7 but sold them all. We have 10 more coming December 1st and then five more December 20th so we'll happily take your money!

It's funny. We did have one dealer in the Central Valley that said they were illegal. When we pointed out that they are on the state approved list. They claimed it would not stay. When we pointed out that the State took our check for the 2019 renewal, they just got mad. We can be our own worst enemy sometimes.

I am still confused. We can buy this, put on a maglock, and put on an upper with a gas-block to have it be semi?

I thought earlier in the thread the DOJ said they would be going after people that decided to make this semi?

The confusion comes from the "Important Information" that CADOJ posted that possibly forecloses the option of buying and converting a "Single Shot Pistol."

Obviously we are selling a bolt action repeater.
