New AR Pistol for California, NOT A SINGLE SHOT

Many months ago the team and I were brainstorming on a way to bring a repeating AR Pistol to California. Last week, we received notice that our Franklin Armory Pistol was approved and will be going on the CA Roster!

CA7 is the first AR pistol on the California Safegun Roster. The CA7 has a 10 round detachable magazine, 7.5" barrel with an FST M-Lok compatible handguard.

The pistol features a 7.5" barrel, M-Lok handguard, and a detachable 10/20 magazine. (This is not to be confused with the two pistols that were added to the list previously that were simply single shot designs.) The beauty of this pistol is that it will be on the California Roster so dealers will know it is legal. CCW holders will be able to place this pistol on their license since it was not an SSE acquisition.

    Make: Franklin Armory
    Model: "Pistol"
    Action: Straight Pull bolt Action
    Caliber: 5.56 NATO
    Barrel: 7.5"
    Capacity: 10+1
    Configuration: CA7
    SKU: 3130-BLK
    UPC: 818725011955
    MSRP: $934.99

    Dealers accounts welcome.

Probably because it's "Bolt Action" and not Semi Automatic.

....Can it be changed to Semi Auto after Purchase?

....If not, Side Charging would have been Awesome.

A bolt action pistol. Hmm. One assumes it may be upgrades at some point to semi-auto. Interesting idea.

For legal reasons, we are not allowed to opine about what a consumer might legally do with a CA7 after they transfer this state certified SAFE pistol. However, I will state that our Drop-in Fixed Magazine (DFM) is an ideal way to ensure that a semiautomatic pistol remains a compliant fixed magazine firearm.

How about a picture of the right side of the receiver then?

Yes. That is how we make the CA7, and that is how it will transfer at your dealer.
