You asked what the linked article had to do with the question in your original post, so I told you. People ask similar questions all the time (e.g. "Hey, what gun that sells for a lot in California should my out of state dad buy me as a <air quotes> gift </air quotes> <wink>" or "Hey, moving to California soon, what guns should I stock up on with the intent to resell after I move?") and people respond in a similar fashion.

I also think , a lot of people are starting to get tired of having to block magazines or use CA ONLY 10rd magazines in guns that were designed to be used higher capacity magazines.

If I was not exempt , I would rather buy an HK45 ( MADE WITH 10 ROUND MAGAZINES) then FN45 (WITH BLOCKED 15 ROUND MAGAZINES) . Would rather carry a SIG P239 with 8 round magazines, then a P229 with CA 10rd magazines or blocked 13rd magazines.

A bit off topic, but I want to "acquire" a standard capacity magazine just because it's a PITA to get the 10th round in. I'd rather load 10 rounds into a standard capacity 13 round magazine for my Glock 21.
