If you are asking for someone else, there are more important things for them to consider than mag capacity.
Someone has to pitch the "why would anyone even need more than 10 rounds" while sitting around the range (conference table) with other LEO's (law makers)

Here are a whole list of guns that people can have fun with. Thanks to Calgun suggestions!

Or someone can pitch the "here are some guns that you can buy as a non-exempt person that don't cause you to give up any capacity to their free state counterparts, don't necessitate your using blocked magazines of iffy reliability, and are sized appropriately for carrying 10 rounds of ammo on board" idea.

Of course it could also be someone doing research in regards to this:

          no more blocked magazines...

Since I am exempt from the roster and magazine capacity laws , I don't follow the subject that much .

            The question was:

What are the most popular OFF ROSTER handguns in California that use 10 or less round magazines by their original design? In other words , handguns that are used with ten or less round magazines in free states. ( for example single stack 1911, Walther PPK , Sig P220 etc).
They are all off roster, but thanks anyway.

Mostly all your sub compact pistols. That's why I like 1911s. 8 rounds in 45 ACP. 10 round 9mm magazines are perfect length for the bumper pad is not needed when utilizing a mag well.

Your first post basically read, "What gun can I buy with my status that will be easy to resell?" (e.g. popular, unavailable to most, transferable magazines)

                            You are funny,

The question came up in a conversation from a person without any special status.

But thank You for Your help anyway. LOL
