Love 10mm. All I've got is a Gen4 G20, but talk about a "do it all" round and pistol combo.

Oceanbob, nice 10mm collection and reloading setup!

Glock 29 for me. I absolutely LOVE this cartridge! I feed it almost exclusively Underwood ammo. Expensive, sure, but we knew that would be the case when we bought these guns. I love that I can run anything from standard ball/practice ammo to ridiculously hard-hitting JHP's to all-copper penetrators and be pretty much ready for anything. Can't say enough good things about 10mm!

Side note, I went in for my CCW interview last week, and when the investigator opened my file, he said "Oh you're the 10mm guy!" and it sparked a whole 5 minute conversation about 10mm. There's really not much bad anyone can say about 10mm unless they have no idea what they're talking about.
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

I have an old Glock model 29. It's a 2nd gen model with no frills, and the previous owner stippled it with a soldering iron. It's possibly my most reliable pistol.
Ugly as mud, but as dependable as a rotweiller. I bought it after shooting a friends M29. I'm not a big guy, but I learned a long time ago how to handle a pistol, and not let it handle me. So this one is a keeper, and actually quite a bit of fun to take to the range and shoot regularly.

SW 1006. I've had it since the mid '90s. Great shooter, controllable and accurate. I'm a happy 10mm shooter!

Nothing better than a Glock 20SF or Gen 4 for a wide range of bullet weights and speeds.

Currently my favorite round is 135 Grain Nosler HP that zips out at 1600 FPS.

I reload all weights. For general plinking during the shortage I settled on 155 grain berry and they all run perfect in the Glock.

I also reload 175 Grain Silvertip. Bought bags of boolets from MidwayUSA.

I run .40 and also have a 9MM and 9X25 barrel that does 2000 FPS on a six inch barrel. Quite loud however.

I run a bunch of preban 15 rounders, most rebuilt with Wolff +10 % springs to lift those 15 rounds reliabably.

Favorite powders at the moment are Longshot and AA #5. I run Starline brass, by the 1000 count. CCI primers. I can build some beautiful ammo on my Dillon machines.

I consider the Glock 20/29 the perfect handgun.

                    I own 2 Glock 29s, 4 Glock 20s, 3 are gen 3 SF and one is a Gen 4 FDE that I haven't fired yet. That's 6. Also I own a Glock 20 Mech Tec Carbine Conversion..

One of my Gen 3 Glock 20SF s is a LoneWolf Longslide. I run a 9 inch barrel in that one.

I have a Glock 20 Gen 4 at first I was a bit hesitant to get it because all the downtalk on the 10mm round price on ammo and how people say how unmanageable the recoil is. I'm glad I didn't listen to all that talk cause its a nice shooting gun fun to shoot & I'll use it as a back up hunting gun. So far I've only shot armscor and Prvi Partizian ammo. I shoot mostly on homemade metal targets. Been dying to get some buffalo and Georgia arms ammo from it.
I have to also say thats a nice collection of 10mm you have there ocean Bob what is that set up on the second picture.

180 FMJFP seems to be the most accurate, but I am still working up some loads and doing testing. The 145 grain Lee SWC bullet seems fairly accurate for target shooting, but I doubt it has much use for anything else.

                        .
I am in the same boat. I picked up a G20 upper for my G21 two years ago. I have some 180gr Freedom munitions that I shoot, but I have not yet started loading for the 10mm.

I DO like the J-Point optical sight on the back though.

Love my 20c. My dad turned me onto the round and he CCW's a 29 and also owns a 20c. We both carry our 20c's as backup pig guns. My dad also carried his colt delta elite when he was a LEO back in the day. Great round!

Been a fan of the 10mm for some time.
Have the G29 and the G20SF but my favorite ten is my DT54-10 (had to add it even if it isn't a pistol)
                              Fun little shooter.

Sure. IMO, the best way is to buy a complete slide on Gunbroker and pick some G20 mags, you are then GTG. Many times the guys selling the slides will offer mags as a package deal, as they are parting the gun out anyway.

The slide on the G20 is heavier (less material milled out underneath) than the G21, which helps slow things down with full powered 10mm rounds, over 45 Auto levels of energy. That is why I think getting a whole slide assembly is preferable over a conversion barrel.

Or you can just buy a whole G20 for a few hundred more. 2 guns are better than 1.5.
