So it's up to an individual, with a very good chance they are a liberal, that decides if you are entitled to your constitutional rights.

Yeah !!! Well, I was denied a second time in this application process. I received a denial letter in late December. The letter stated that I was not forthcoming with an incident back in 1987 and also not disclosing that it was a felony. Completely different incident than the first letter of denial when I was told I had a felony out of chicago. This incident that happened in '87 was discussed with the deputy during the oral interview process. It was also never a felony. In fact, all charges were dismissed. After receiving the letter I wrote an email to the captain of IA explaining such and he put me back into the application process. I just took my psych evaluation 2 weeks ago and I'm waiting for the results from that. Smh! What a ride! Denied twice during the same application that was submitted in July of '22 for two felonies that I never had.

And just think, once you get your CCW in ALCO you'll have to take an 8-hour refresher and range qual every two years and pay a premium for that class and the test!
