Congrats, and a word to all renewals make sure you apply at least 60 days prior to expiration. The 45 day that it use to be is no longer good and even though I applied for my renewal back in June it looks like my permit will expire before I get new one.

Nope and I also am waiting since June, like I said they changed the 45 days prior to now 60 days prior. And it changed sometime just before June because I checked May just to make sure, I then scheduled my training so I could apply in the 45 day time frame, then when I went to apply it had changed to 60 days.

Last week I PCS to Travis AFB. I live in Vacaville, and will change my address on my DL this week.
Do I need to wait some time before I apply for the CCW, or can I apply once I have the first Utility bills and my CA DL?

I would contact the CCW unit and ask them. Their email and phone number are on the website.

Fingers crossed. I’m in the same predicament. I didn’t want to renew too early as last time it took 20 days off of my 2 year.

At this point I’m expired and still waiting. My first renewal took exactly one week and I lost close to a. Month.

Still waiting on my " approval for pick up". Submitted my 8hr class cert on 8/8. Sent an email on 8/17 regarding my status. No response. My guess is they've been busy with the evacuations from the fire's.

Nope, Didnt want to be that pesty person and since it did change from 45 to 60 days I figured I would wait the 60 days and see what happens. Also figured if they are so busy that they had to extend out to 60 days for renewals the last thing i want to do is add more emails for them to have to go through slowing things down.

Picked up my permit on the 2nd. Applied in November 2019.

So my tracker is still in the yellow portion (processing). Now is that suppose to change before my interview or after ? Interview is in October.
