In terms of allowable modifications, I know this seems like a technicality...but does anyone have any input if this would be okay?

Nothing is modified about the gun, since it's mounted by the dovetail. Or are they insinuating that only traditional iron sights are allowable?

Hi all, I am at the point in the application where I need to submit my reason for wanting a ccw permit and I feel like my best shot might be to go with a personal protection theme cause. I say this becuase my employer is one of the local UCs up here in the bay so I can't actually say its because of work. However, I wonder if anyone can actually claim that self defense is not a just cause during these times. Anythoughts?

Has anyone moved up in their application recently? I had my interview and livescan completed on 2/6/2020. I recieved an email yesterday (6/3/20) notifying me to complete my livescan, which was odd because I completed the initial one 4 months ago. Has anyone experienced the same thing?

I messaged Deputy Pinder about the email and my concern regarding my livescan going through. He got back to me fairly quickly and told me if I read the message completely it states that I need to disregard the message if I completed my livescan. My real issue was why I got that email 4 months after completing my livescan which he didn't answer.

Im tempted to email him again since it's close to being 5 months since I completed my interview/livescan.

Just got an email “proceed to train”.
Does anyone have any training facility recommendations? What are the qualifications to pass? Haven’t been to the range since before the “shelter in place”
