If you save it to your desktop you should be able to fill it in. I just did it from the link a minute ago.

I agree with the previous comments -- you may need an updated version of Adobe that allows you to have the "typewriter" feature in it. At the office, we have Nuance that does conversions for us. If all else fails, draft yourself a good-looking secretary

sac only requires self defense as a cause, Solano is going to require more than that

Basically the sheriff is the only sheriff in the Bay Area who issues. Just like every politician he wants to get re elected. He has to think about both sides here to make everyone happy. It's his job to follow the constitution and protect his citizens (get votes),while being in liberal paradise.

I scheduled my appointment,it's all the way out in June. When I talked to kellie it sounds like they accept applications every 30 minutes twice a week.

If you're in need of a good cause statement, consider signing up for Dave Adam's CCW seminar. He will help you analyze your situation and articulate them in a way that should satisfy the Sheriff.

I'm not sure who you heard differently from, but good cause was still requires d 1 year ago.

Dropped off app today and I must say it was a bit of an awkward interview, I was made to feel like I was doing something wrong and then when signing the final page he says to me if I find out you lied on this application I will come and arrest you. Very awkward.

Anyone else have an experience like this?

I had my appointment today as well. It didn't feel awkward to me. I did get the same speech about lying. The deputy was very professional and straight to the point. Was in and out before my scheduled appointment time.

Maybe it was just me then. I just got an odd vibe from him. Very friendly and nice at the start but then it seemed to get awkward in the middle of going over everything. I did ask him to repeat a few things as he was speaking very fast and I simply wanted to make sure I was answering what he was asking correctly.

If he is a Detective maybe that explain his interview technique and why I felt it was awkward. It kind of felt like I was being questioned to solve a crime.

I wasn't in there long either and it went very smooths he was a nice guy, I just got a weird vibe I guess.

Oh and a reminder for those of you that carry a knife in your pocket don't forget to leave it in the car.
