Thanks for the link. Some interesting opinions there.
I still think it needs to be rewritten. It is about as clear as mud. Not concerned about the intentions of the person who decided on that disclosue, but definely concerned about the interpetation of any leo I present it to.

        Spouse's gun for CCW

Can I use my spouse"s pistol for one of my CCW weapons in Solano? Or does it have to be registered in applicants name? Did not see anything in modification or application paperwork regarding this. Thx

Call Kellie but; I believe you can have your spouses weapon listed on your permit and vice versa.

FYI, Dave Adams at BRC Arms is still holding CCW classes. So don't let the Centermass closing hold you back.

Thank you, Tony -- Dave will be at the CRPA booth in Fairfield on the weekend of Oct 17-19, for those of you who want to see him in person. I usually try to have the hard copies of the Sheriff's CCW instructions printed out too if that helps for the people who haven't applied yet.

See you in a few days

Ammunition Supply Point has announced on their Facebook page that they are the new owners of CenterMass.

Budget 90 days at each of the first two steps (go to LiveScan, go to Training). Your background (L.E. Contacts, # of Jurisdictions you've lived in) will impact the time frame. It seems to just take a few weeks to get your License after you turn in your targets.

That's also very fluid. Jan/Feb of this year it was more like 90-120 days total. Then some process changes they made caused it to go longer. Hopefully they continue refining it and it shrinks back down.

The time almost doubled since the implemented changes. Requiring appointments etc... Isn't change supposed to improve the process :P I understand more people may be applying since the Peruta Decision but come on! I'm just glad i got mine when i did (April 2014)

Thanks for the replies! I only ask because I am a few months pregnant and know that I will most likely not be allowed to shoot while pregnant, based on range rules. So I am trying to figure out the best time to start the process without having to cause any delays on my end with training/instruction =)

Congrats on the baby -- I would at least fill out the paperwork and get my appointment. Speak to Dave Adams this weekend at our booth to get his advice. Kellie is another one you can speak with and explain your concerns to, thx.
