There's a countdown timer on the election on the other guy's website. It shows 400+ days. I thought it strange that he's campaigning now but maybe that's how it's done.

Thank you for the update -- it'll be interesting to see what his views are on issuing CCWs since Solano is one of the few counties lucky enough to have it.

I'm new to this forum, but was wondering if I could get some help on my ccw app. I pretty much have all the needed documents I need to move forward with submitting my application, but am waiting on completing the 10 day wait period to pick up a new pistol that I want to add as my primary edc.
What type of format should be used for the Good Cause statement? A letter? An essay? Also, how long should it be? I have been working on it the last few days, but I think it's too long (1.5 pages typed). Also, what are your views on adding on physical description of yourself, should I add that I am 4'9" female and reasons why I am a target and experiences that I have actually been through?
Oh, and when in the process do I submit my Good Cause statement? Is it on the application? Do I attach it as a document? Is this reviewed at the time my appointment is scheduled?

Hi!!

I figured out the app process, finalized my good cause statement, filled out and submitted my app, attached all my documents, and set up my appointment!!

4/8/17 joined calguns forum
4/10/17 CCW Application submitted
4/18/17 10 day wait period ends and I get to pick up my new toy
Spring and summer=Snow, Disneyland, camping, range time in between...
More waiting...
8/24/2017 Initial appointment

I can't believe how far out my appointment is. Have your heard of anyone cancelling their ccw application appointment?
