I am wanting to apply for my CCW but was wanting to maybe get some legal guidance from maybe a CGF foundation member in the bay area. I would like to make sure I fill the form out properly. PM me please if any one can help me out thanks.

Good to know that, mine is due for renewal in May. Thanks for the info.Originally posted by Purple KMy first renewal is complete! A very pleasant experience. Solano SO now has a very pleasant woman named Kelly handling Carry Permits, Catherine can now focus on her job once again.Comment

Purple K, would you mind giving us a quick review of the renewal process?
How early should you turn you paperwork in prior to your expiration date to prevent gaps in your ability to carry?
Any training requirements / range recert?
How much paperwork, and of what type?
Turn around time?
Overall cost?
That kind of stuff. I'm sure there are a lot of folks who are wondering how the process works and I haven't seen it documented anywhere. Thanks...

I don't think it's nice,...you laughing.
You see, my mule don't like people laughing.
He gets the crazy idea you're laughing at him.
Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to,
I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.Comment

So I had a chat with a 20yr Solano county sheriff's deputy the other day. I asked him about LTCs and he said that I should go for it. No felonies or other prohibiting convictions are on my record. I was at work at the time of the conversation, he said that since I work odd hours and in remote locations would be enough for me to get a license. I'll be going through the GCSs later this evening to get an idea of what I need to put on mine.Custom made Tail Gunner Trailer Hitch for sale.

There are a couple of GCSs that address working in remote areas specifically radio repeaters sites. So I had a chat with a 20yr Solano county sheriff's deputy the other day. Anyone know if I can apply for a solano ccw while being a sac county holder? In a sense I have dual residency cause I rent a room in solano where I work to avoid commute gas mileage. Would they send red flags to sac county?
