    (3) We should win some sort of Carry at SCOTUS by 2022 July 01. We may win OC at CA9 en banc sometime before fall 2021 in Young, or a few months later in Nichols, or a few months after Nichols in Flanagan. Once we win a RBA OC we just do what they did in OH when the Ohio State Supreme Court said they had a right to OC back in 2003: we have OC demonstrations until the legislature passes Shall Issue CCWs.

Or maybe we should hold out for Constitutional Carry....
Sadly no concrete/written/video evidence that could be provided to a lawyer. No way to prove in court that those who made sizable contributions to his campaign were issued permits based on that action. Just such an odd coincidence I suppose. Same with the aviation point; the fact that I know several people who have had equal qualifications and applied and the one who was his aviation buddy got approved and the others got denied. But there's clearly no way to prove in court that that was the deciding factor for the issuance.

I am hopeful about your 3rd point that I bolded.
And I am doubtful (but still hopeful) about your last piece haha

      (2) If someone in SB Co really believes what you wrote in and really wants a CCW they can hire a lawyer and use the old Preston “Billy Jack” Guillory approach: CBS v. Block to force PRA compliance re. accepted GCs, Guillory v. Co of Orange (Gates), for 14th A EP attack and then Salute v. Pitchess to force issuance.

Or maybe you should move about twenty-miles or so down to Ventura County where the VCSO will issue you a CCW!

I’m going to change my recommendation from making SB Co Yellow to Light Red since the LEO said approving a Yellow GC was only a “maybe.” With Santa Cruz and Imperial where the LEOs said “maybe” to Light Green GC we’re going with Yellow to be conservative. So for a consistent standard among counties SB will be Light Red on the next revision.

As always the map says it may be off by 1 color either direction so applicants with Yellow should still try if they really want a CCW.

(former?) Prince Harry & Meghan moved to Montecito (Santa Barbara Co). They’ve rejected performing royal duties. They now hear they’ll no longer have free royal bodyguards. Will they apply for CCWs like us “little people”? Would Sheriff Brown issue to them? Will their friend and fellow Montecito resident Oprah now push for liberalization of CCWs? LOL!

Public Records Act (PRA) requests in a year, anyone?

The assumption by Harry that tax-payers would fund security after he and Meghan left the UK was branded 'arrogant' and 'unworkable' by former chief superintendent Dai Davies.

Just got my denial letter from lompoc police department. Apparently the police chief is just as bad as sheriff brown and has same stand point.

                      See post 146 above.

Are you now going to try to apply with the sheriffs office? There’s no harm in trying.

If you do try let us know how it goes.

I dont see a point to I already spoke to someone at sheriff office and he told me unless I own a business and need to deposit large sums of money they won't issue, and even then it would only be a LTC when going to the bank not outside of that

                              Sorry to hear, Bubba.
This county sucks for CCW, none of the sheriffs want to deal with the liability.

Don't they have to deal with the liability from other counties' ccw's?
