WOW, In teaching Civilians for approximately 5 years now(Instructing total of 15), I have yet to receive ONE negative review...until KOKANEE.
Based on Kokanee description, I don't even recognize myself based on your story!
I highly doubt Law Enforcement agencies, Bail Agencies and Security Companies would consistently use me if I was such a terrible instructor. Another that I know isn't true...I would not "Bad Mouth" your gun. My opinions are given by what I call "Big Boy" rules. I would tell you my opinions why a gun isn't for you and what to look for but YOU do what's good for you. I'm about as unorthodox in my skills as anyone can be. So I too don't like when an Instructor critizes what I do etc, especially if they didn't even ask me. And yes, I continually train as a student every year..as I say to all my students, We are students first, Instructors second! And if you had so much instruction prior, why are you taking a Basic HG class? I can't recall anyone coming through who had any type of proficient skills at all. Makes me suspect! Another thing I know isn't true is about my gun being in a bin downstairs. I do not use my "actual" gun in class. So it wouldn't have been unloaded, it wouldn't have been in a bin etc simply crazy talk.
Anyways.....my reputation speaks for itself and I'm continually recommended by the top gun shops in the area for a reason. I will always defend my Reputation, Honor and Integrity. Peace Out!

I am looking to sign up for your class because Elite Arms is local to me (and I do a lot of shopping with them).Comment

Fidel, Quick question. Why does it say "*San Joaquin Residents, YOU MUST be pre-approved by your Sheriff prior to taking training* on your website?
ThanksComment

Says who? Sheriff's dept. website only say you should not take it before approval. Because if you don't get approved then your out the money for the class. I know of several people who took the class a few months before being approved and got their permit with no problem.Comment

I'll respond one last time.
Sorry, not "trolling" him one bit.
A troll would have a recent forum join date as well as very few posts if any.
One note I will make in regards to the reason I took a basic handgun class. I should not have to address this, but every instructor I have ever used has required all new students to start from the bottom, I wouldn't ask a instructor to do it any differently.
If spartan accepts other instruction classes to allow students to start out taking intermediate or advanced classes, well, all the more reason I am happy using other instructors.
The consensus of our group of 5 was, we did not feel safe. Shame on us, and shame on me for voicing my opinion.
If you guys feel safe and like spartans instruction, good for you, that is your choice!
Have a great day!Comment

I also said "IF".
Nobody has anything against you voicing your opinion, so by all means if you had a bad experience share it. You may/may not help people with it.Comment

Duncan Ramirez.
Great instructor with small classes. Also he offers regular "refresher" classes to his students/graduates.
I highly recommend First Response! If it ain't broke, keep fixin' it 'til it is...Comment

Not all trolls are new. I am a forum sponsor in the automotive industry. There are trolls with years and thousands of posts under their belt.

I have not tried Valley yet, but Gray OPS is excellent, his whole team is great, Gordon, Greg, Pat, Alan. Wonderful guys!
Another that is excellent is GSG Firearms from Lodi. Scott and Lee are great instructors. They don't do CCW although, but their training is very involved.Comment

For my classes, I prefer all SJ residents to be approved or at least pretty close time frame wise.Comment
