Duncan keeps his classes small and they train out at the range in Linden.

Also he has no "qualification" standard. If you can prove you're safe with your pistol, you're GTG

I'll second this recommendation. Vince and his team are great. www.valleydefense.com

I have 2 SSE guns on my SJC permit. I also have a Glock 21 with a .45ACP and 10mm barrel that I qualified with to get both calibers listed on my permit.

My wife and I went through Gary Rocke. We never took a class before, so nothing to compare it to. But, the training was very positive and I would recommend him. Class size was small (2 instructors with 3 students when we attended). We liked the more one-on-one type of training we received. We are planning on attending a more advanced class in the future through him.

I would recommend Best Handgun Training in Lincoln. Yes, they are a bit of a drive from San Joaquin County where I drove from when I took the course but they do have plenty of options in terms of course dates. They also do offer a 1-day Initial course. It is quite long but would rather drive up and complete in one day instead of two days.

I don't believe personal finances are a major part to define good moral character. I think they know unfortunate things happen. We had to file BK due to my wife losing her job (was last resort). We were told to include that information on our application. Just be upfront with information to be safe (that's what we were told).

Got the phone call on Dec. 24th with the approval and to take the class.
