Did you take the 1 day course? They do have a lot of dates open and the prices are really reasonable. Plus it will work with my work schedule. How did you like the class?

Duncan keeps his classes small and they train out at the range in Linden. If anyone on here has gone through a approved certified firearms trainer some suggestions would be appreciated. I live in stockton so hopefully not travel too far for the course. Currently there are 27 approved firearm trainers on the SJSO website . Thank you everyone !

Also he has no "qualification" standard. If you can prove you're safe with your pistol, you're GTGLeave a comment:

I'll second this recommendation. Vince and his team are great. www.valleydefense.comLeave a comment:

My wife and I went through Gary Rocke. We never took a class before, so nothing to compare it to. But, the training was very positive and I would recommend him. Class size was small (2 instructors with 3 students when we attended). We liked the more one-on-one type of training we received. We are planning on attending a more advanced class in the future through him.If anyone on here has gone through a approved certified firearms trainer some suggestions would be appreciated. I would recommend Valley Defense . Well thought out class room info and they have enough help on the shoot day to keep things moving . They seem to be able to help the novice and experience shooter equally well . My wife and I took it from them and real enjoyed it .Leave a comment:

I would recommend Best Handgun Training in Lincoln. Yes, they are a bit of a drive from San Joaquin County where I drove from when I took the course but they do have plenty of options in terms of course dates. They also do offer a 1-day Initial course. It is quite long but would rather drive up and complete in one day instead of two days.If anyone on here has gone through a approved certified firearms trainer some suggestions would be appreciated.
