Different document from different authority. Use your electricity bill or home phone bill.

    Submitted renewal application 06/29

    Got the call around 08/01

    Approved 09/23

I have been super busy the last couple weeks and did not get around to scheduling a pick up. I got a call a couple days ago asking if I could come in that day or the next. The investigator said they are trying to get "a bunch of pickups done sooner rather than later."

They were very nice. There is no picture on the paper card. They said they have the machine and blanks to do plastic cards but are waiting on DOJ approval.

overall it was a pleasant process but was too slow.

You don't give a good cause statement when renewing, only when you initially apply. I used "self defense" as mine. You should be good with personal protection. Good luck.

Applied the 90 day mark out from my expiration in early July. July came and went and I have been expired. Got the noticed it was approved and to schedule a pickup date. Logged in and the first available pickup date is almost in Mid November. So I’m approved but still over a month out from being able to pick up.

    *****Edit/update.
Received a call and got to talk with a nice lady over the phone. She informed me that they are definitely signing hundreds of CCW’s but with covid and their extra help having to be on protest/riot duty they are swamped. I jumped the gun on my comment above. They had some available spots open up and are back filling them and getting everyone through as fast as possible.
