I'm glad now that I'm such a boring person. No charges or convictions as an adult or minor.

Personally I would include everything, I mean they will find out and ask why you didn't list it, if you didn't. We have members on here who mentioned they brought stuff up from 10-40 years in the past. Something to think about.

I agree, I would put everything. They will see it and ask about it even though it's outside the stated date range. They even asked about my work overseas: where, how frequent and durations.

Put everything down. If you were arrested, convicted or not it's there. Go get yourself your own livescan. That way you just write down everything that's on it. Some things out of state will not be on it, so put down EVERYTHING. If you get a call that Sheriff Moore wants to interview you, TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT EVERYTHING.

How long is the interview for the application dropoff?

The interview is just the investigator going over the application with you, payment and fingerprinting.

Is there another interview with the investigator later on in the process?

I don't believe so. Mine was like this... YMMV

                  *App turn in/interview
*Took CCW training when they started doing March applications
*Investigator called if anything changed in regards to information in application (arrests, tickets, moved, ect)
                  *Approval call/email
                  *Pick up app

Note: there was quite a bit of waiting in between each of those processes...

Again YMMV but that was my process. I know some were actually called in to talk to Sheriff but still got approval, I was told he just wants to meet the people he approves? Not sure...

He just doesn't want to meet the people he approves. Myself with my record from the 1970s he wanted to know all about it. I told him the absolute truth about all my arrests. I was told by the investigator that I was lucky to get my CCW because it was a 50-50 chance I wouldn't get it.

Does the office still accept exact cash?

As of two days ago their website said that they do but you need the exact amount because they do not give change. It said check, MO, or cash... no plastic.

I just made an appointment for my renewal... it does not feel like almost two years have passed yet.

It's $19 at one counter and $128 at the other so you will likely need to bring at least 7 ones and 2 fives, we had trouble breaking the bills between the couters

Confirmed. Just did my interview/app drop off. Exact cash, check or money order. Whats odd is on the website on one page it states the above payment methods but on another page its states only check or money order.

So do I just fill out the forms, call to make an appt, and go drop them off and pay the fees? Then wait a year+? Lol
