How long does it stay at “assigning to processor shortly” before there’s any movement? Only been 9 business days since submitting my renewal, but first time submitting my renewal electronically, so I’m curious.

3 months and mine was assigned, but only because they needed to go in and modify the application to show my new address.

The only thing I can think of that is causing the massive delay is, I think it was in April or May of last year Ca was required to except out of state applications and we all know how speedy LA county is. So I'm assuming most are applying to the county that "use" to have the quickest processing time.

I think Riverside is the fastest. My cousin on Initial was less than a month and renewal under two weeks. My employer is in Riverside, so I may change to that county once this permit is up.

As a resident you must apply where you reside not where you work.

You can apply in the county you work as well, it's up to the sheriff and I've been told RivCo is very lenient.

According to their website you still need to be a resident. CCW's issued because you work in a County in the past were few and far between as to who would issue them and they were only good for a limited time.

Just finished doing my address change online. What a PITA. I guess the jokers who run the app site do not know CA does not issue new DL's.

"still processing order". Permit will expire in 1 week.

Submitted 01/08 and it’s now moved on to “Assigned to Processor/Processing order.” I didn’t get any email notification for the update, but maybe the emails are only to notify of approvals/denials?

The only emails I received where the 'application submitted' and then the 'approved' email.

Email says Permit has been issued and it will be mailed and be patient 😆

How long did it take San Bernardino Co. to send you your deed for the address change? Mine still hasn't shown up
