That slide was shown in my class 3 years ago. Thing is not all of the trainers will show it. In my brothers class 3 years ago it was not.

My trainer encouraged everyone to do what they could to be more proficient with their firearms. This included training, practice and a better trigger.

For renewals, do you need to re-qualify at the range if you have no changes or add-ons? Or is it just classroom? My friend in O.C. had to do classroom and range for renewal.

01/13/20 Class/range day scheduled.
02/08/20 Class/range day completed.
02/15/20 Permit received.

About 6 months start to finish. I really wish I would have done it sooner. The CCW unit, especially Sarah, were awesome to work with every step of the way.

Seriously, the interview is very low key and they are very helpful in getting you approved. As long as you aren't prohibited from owning a firearm and haven't been convicted of any misdemeanors in the last five years you'll be fine. [emoji106]

Was pretty straight forward.. they just go over your application. I got asked questions regarding some of my answers and that was it.
