You'll be fine, SB County is geared towards approving you, not denying you. 100% Honesty and concrete proof you live in Berdoo county and you'll be good to go.

Thanks. I appreciate you and everyone else who takes the time to answer questions and share their experiences. I had wanted a certain pistol for my license but it had been out of stock until very recently so I settled for something else. Still happy I was able to get it finally.

Does SBSD still mail out the renewal in November? I haven't gotten mine yet.

Mail them in December usually, I thought.
The 2020 letter is on their website already.

Is that going to be a problem applying for CCW in SB?

If you give the license plate number to a Ford Pinto as your address, it might be an issue. Otherwise, apply. The Sheriff here is very fair.

Question...if u dont have bills like ur utility, gas, solar and/or registration of a car under ur name. Can u still apply for a ccw? Got a house a deed under my name. Is ther going to be a problem? Just asking...

Yup. Just because you own a house in San Bernardino county doesn't mean you're a resident of the county.

These other things go to prove you're a resident.

                    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Why don't you have utilities or car registration?

The reason is because 1 got into an accident totalled 1 1/2 yrs ago. Gave up the car to the pound. Then as for utility bills n stuff under my fiance. Better credit. Less money to pay.

                            - if you don't have [typical] proof of residency you typically fill out an affidavit
                            - in an affidavit you basically swear under oath that you are a SBC resident
                            - if you are found to be lying then you can be held criminally accountable
                            - you will need to get the affidavit notarized..

Good morning all. I have a buddy who lives in SB County and is considering applying for his permit. What is the approximate turnaround time from the time you submit your application until card in hand?

Thank you in advance for any responses.
