    Range day

    Today is my range day!
I applied about a week after the San Bernardino shooting, interviewed 15 April. I had a range date in August but my car let me down that morning and it was too late to get to Devore close to the class time. Fortunately I was able to reschedule after I came back from Europe three weeks ago.

      Question

Does SB County only do the classes at AV or Devore?

After my interview, the front desk lady gave me a paper saying that my class would be at the San Bernardino Sheriff's Training Center. Haven't received a phone call yet. Interviewed 7/15.

They are running behind. When I interviewed in August they said 90-120 days. People who interviewed in June are just getting called. Hang tight.

            Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Well just got out, it went great. The class was of 42 people. It wasn't bad at all. The deputies were very informative and super cool. Now I just have to wait for my permit.

I heard to expect at least 3 weeks after your range day to get your permit? Why does this take so long? They only process two classes every weekend. Surely processing less than 1 hundred permits a week shouldn't take that long...

They have thousands of employees that come first. Constant new hires everyday needing IDs being made by the same person making your CCW ID.

I doubt it will take 3 weeks to get your permit, they told me the same thing and I had it in 4 days.
