Schedule appt. 6/23
Appt 8/17
Approval 8/26
Livescan started 8/31
Approval 1/17

Just need to finish up training and hope they open up appointments for issuance soon! Hang in there guys!

I got mine today as well

Initial interview 8-30 cleared sac county 9/30 cleared DOJ/FBI 1/17

Did you notice we have 180 days from today to compleat all training paperwork and pay fees.

Looks like they have extended the time.

The fact that they notify me literally 3 business days before the interview makes me very nervous...

Anyone with a upcoming appointment? What does your status say online? I had to resubmit a doc but the problem is that they notified me kinda late and now im scared that they will turn me away...

I just heard back from Amber Wong. Scott Jones has every intention of continuing to allow SSE guns on Sacramento County issued CCW's. As mentioned in another post above, that restriction was removed from the SacSheriff.com CCW application pages.

It looks like the SSE restriction verbiage has been removed from the on-line application... See the attached snap-shot picture of the first cut of the web site!

Well crap, too late for me. I already initiated the process to correct the registration on my own.

Sure wish they would have vetted the decision to put that requirement on there a bit more before I invested the time/money.
