Got my approval, now just waiting on my pick up date and time. It's a shame that my fingerprints vendor screwed up because this could have been done 14 weeks ago

I did mine after the interview. In hindsight I should have done it before. It delayed the process for me. Had I did it before all requirements would have been satisfied prior to the interview.
So i recommend doing it within the 90 days.

I'm going through the process now. My permit expires at the end of October. 90 days prior I submitted my application and tried to get an appointment but January 2021 was the earliest available. I took it but checked back several times a day and have moved up three times to mid-September. I'm signed up to requalify today at BCTC and all my other paperwork has been submitted, so hopefully I should be good-to-go in October.
It takes a little bit of effort and luck but you can move your appointment time up quite a bit if you check the web site frequently. You don't risk losing your time slot by looking.Comment

Just got approved and paid the final payment. Waiting pick up time as well.
But if i recall correctly, the investigator told me not to call him after making the final payment. So I think I can just show up any time.

Looks like we got approved for final payment at the same time. It says contact your interviewer for pick up time in the email.

You're good to go. You can pick up anytime during office hours after getting that notice. I think it's Tuesday-Friday 8 AM - 2 PM if I'm not mistaken.
Call the CCW Unit number in the email to confirm.

I got my approval today!!
I just wanted to thank the regulars here for their advice and encouragement given to those going through the process.
One last question, I haven't been to BCTC since my son went through the Fire Academy.
Is the CCW office easy to locate? BCTC buildings and signs used to be horrible. Then said He unto them...
"and he that hath no 1911 designed by my servant John Moses Browning,
let him sell his garment and buy one."
And they said, "Lord, behold, here are two Glocks."
And He said unto them, "Meh, it's a good start."
