I had my interview this morning over the phone. They sent me an email 20 minutes before my interview stating that it was going to be a phone interview. It went well and they will take my picture when I pick up my card. But all of that will have to wait until the office's open back up for livescan. So just so everyone knows RCSO is still interviewing but it is over the phone.

We went over the application and he gave me a couple of pointers to amend on my good cause. It took about 20 minutes. It was non stressful and he was very helpful.

$10 Livescan's in March at Riverside Sheriff's Dept. . Not sure if they are open now.

I am taking my class and qual this Saturday. Since everything seems to be a little iffy right now as far as live scan and maybe a hold on interviews as this plays out, My question is.

How long is the class and qualification good for? Does have a timed expiration?

If memory serves me correctly the class and qualification is good for 6 months. I would imagine that there will be exceptions right now and they would extend that.

Having said that I’m sure someone knows for sure.

I did my class n qual on Monday and just to be safe I uploaded copies of the score sheet and the certificate itself to my CCW application folder. I also texted PDFs of both to my background investigator. May not help but it certainly cant hurt.

My live scan was complete in under 24 hours. I did another livescan last month for my Coe/ffl03 and that one took 3 days.

I don't have any legal issues that would come up other than gun purchases.

First two for me were ready within 24hrs. Firearms portion took an extra day.
