That is the thing, I don't have another answer. I had a family member threaten my life numerous times but I don't have a restraining order or police reports or anything to back me up. I have a SUPER clean record, not even any tickets for moving violations or whatever. I guess I will wait and see when I talk to Deputy Yezzo on monday. He seemed pretty cool on the phone.

Did anyone witness the threats that would be willing to write a letter? That may be enough.

Just did interview

Met with Deputy Yezzo, and I have a few notes.

Going to expand the Self Defense reasoning due to the nature of my job (pharma), and try to get an employer notification signed as well as a letter from my boss stating how and why I may be a good candidate. I also need to re-do my reference letters to be more detailed. I followed the steps when having others write them but they want more info. Not a big deal. I also was misinformed and thought there would be more of a cost difference when adding 2 firearms instead of 1, but he said no. I said yes to pre approval so I would not waste my range fee, since I have been waiting this long already I figure 1 month shouldn't be a huge deal. Deputy Yezzo was helpful and somewhat easy to deal with compared to what I initially expected.

Did you do the pre approval Murrieta45? He said that may delay me an extra month or so, but I figured it has taken this long so that isn't a huge deal.

Nope. I turned in app, interview in Nov, CCW class and range mid Dec. I was told 1st week of Jan that my file was going to admin but learned it didn't go until 1st week of Feb.
