      riverside sheriff ccw question

What caliber are we allowed to carry for the riverside sheriff ccw? Can a 22 magnum be ok? I like to buy a north american arm small pistol as a secondary carry along with my primary.

        Really,,,, .22 mag

For CCW you want to eliminate a threat to yourself and Family

Not Piss off some drugged up dirtbag

        YMMV.....

.22 Mag / sounds Cool when fired ,,, makes tiny holes
.45 / Sounds like Thors Thunder ..Makes Big Holes

well it's a 2ndary carry not my main one carry. besides a 22 magnum is not the same as a 22lr. 22 magnum is actually pretty good for self defense.

              They don't allow 22.
And they can't even justify it by saying its underpowered, because they don't allow ANY 22. Including the full sized FN 5.7 pistols that are good enough for the secret service. They let me qualify with it, then wouldn't add it to my card.

But all my 380s, with inferior ballistics, got approved fine.

I also wanted my NAA mini revolver on my ccw because I use it for snake shot when with the dog. I walk the dog on private land but accessed through public space that requires a ccw. They wouldn't approve it.

Rivco sheriff says they're for 2a freedom.... But only to the degree that they feel like, and everyone else is wrong and SOL.

dang that sux the big one what would be a concern for a NAA 22 geez.

Your caliber crisis paints Riverside County in a bad light? Petty!

Has anyone done the qualify (or requalify) @ BCTC recently? Is it still 6 rounds each at 15, 10, and 7 yards?

Round count shouldn't have changed, the round count at those distances is a standard

I submitted renewal app on 9/12. I hope not too long but mine doesn't expire until March so just patiently waiting.

At what point does mental health become and issue? I've had a history of depression but never had a 5150. Does that affect my chances of getting approved?
