Let my permit lapse so I had to go through the normal process:

Class/Application - 8/28
Phone Appointment - 9/13
Submitted Livescan - 9/14
Permit Ready - 10/10

Much faster than last time.

8 hour course: 10/8/2022
Interview: 10/17/22 (palm desert)

When I applied in July I wanted to do it riverside but 1st interviews were at the end of November.

As I was on the portal some dates were being taken in real time. Had two dates in September but while I looked at my scheduled and tried to figure out what days worked best, those slots were taken.

Ahh then maybe I should wait. I wanted an M&p shield and I did the interview, just need the livescan and course lol. But with my schedule Ill just do with the three. Things in my part of riverside just got hairy and I cant afford to wait. Ill pay to add later if need be. Luckily my interviewer said its fine and to just tell my ccw instructor i want to add.

Crazy long time. Moved here from OC and had my CCW in two other counties so I know my background is clean.

My interview with RCSD is coming up on 12-19.

I applied on 8-15 after training class on 8-12.
When I tried to make an appointment, there was an opening in november, but I hesitated, thinking I could get an earlier date.
Later that day I check back and soonest was in January!
Then I checked again and got a December interview.

This is a crazy process.
