Received a pink slip from the post office yesterday to stop by and sign for a letter from the Sheriff's office... Any ideas? Hoping it's not bad news

Hopefully then been just trying to reach you by phone and could t so sent you a letter that your permits ready.

Just positive thinking..

I know my email for additional docs has been driving me crazy. Too.

Renewals - 180 Days

Not clear how long after you submit, but they say to start 180 days before the end date of your current permit RSO Site:

"RENEW Concealed Carry Weapon License. Be sure you apply 180 days before the expiration of your current permit".

It also says you can't start until 180 days prior to expiration: "If the applicant is RENEWING a Carry Concealed Weapon license in Riverside County, they may not apply until 180 days before the expiration date listed on their current Carry Concealed Weapon license."

Sounds like you circle that date !

For a renewal permit, how many days will it take to get the permit after everything is 100% complete ?

Looks like we're just a week apart.

However I think mine was delayed since the RCSD sent me a email it will be 3.5 months and that additional docs were required by CADOJ.

I will update once I hear something back or my Firearms completes.

DOJ took 4 months, 26 days
2/17/22 FBI Completed - Same day as live scan
3/29/22 CA Completed - 1 month 12 days from live scan date
7/12/2022 Firearms Completed - 4 months 26 days from live live scan date.
This was for 3 guns.

On 7/13/22 - application was sent to Sheriff's administration to be reviewed for consideration.

CCW Approved 7/16/22
Picked up card today 7/18/22

EFFECTIVE 06/27/2022: RENEWAL appointments are no longer required unless specifically requested. We will process orders on a first come first serve basis. Failure to upload all required documents during your submission will result in delays in the processing of your application.

When I first applied, I was advised to get all the DOCs together and upload it in toto

No problem. It looks like the longest wait so far is 145 days. I might just calm myself down by setting 145 days as an expectation.
