Recived my amended ccw permit today through mail, Riverside Sheriff dept really stepped up their game👍👍 . Qualified at BC on March 14th.

Called to request my appointment on 2/27. Interviewed on 3/20. Livescanned on 3/23 (officer said it would take 2 weeks). Training/Qualify 4/14. Not sure how long it will be after that but probably 2-3 business days after Qualifying.

The live scan takes 2 weeks? Or the acceptance or denial process?

I decide do to go the more expensive route and go through American Firearms Training. Ben Clark wasn't available until May...

They added riverside shooting range to there list of qualifying places and they only charge $100 for there ccw class. And they do classes every Saturday.

When I did mine the interviewer (Feliciano) said to fill out everything, including the parts that said .

Yah I was told to do it all at the interview before, but they seem nice about it.

There are three steps to complete this process:
-Print and fill out the California Department of Justice application (BOF 4012)
-Sign where necessary (department members must also get signed approvals from supervisors)
-Contact the CCW Unit at CCW@Riversidesheriff.org, or (951) 486-2944 to arrange an interview appointment

3. Documents:
Type or print in black ink onlyDo not sign areas marked Witness.
