They received my app on Feb 7 or 9th of 2022 and I didn't get a call to interview till Nov. I'd say your in good shape. Still waiting on my PTT email as well.

just curious.. you did your live scan before the interview? How were you able to do that without the live scan form they provide during the interview?

I friend of mine is getting ready for his interview tomorrow and was reviewing his application when he noticed he misread one of the questions and answered no on the part of the app that asks if you’ve ever used illegal drugs. He used to smoke weed and had his medical card and plans on telling them at the interview. Do you guys think this will cause a problem for him?

Yeah I'd be terrified of that. Although in California weed is legal, federally it is not. And if he owns guns that means he lied on the FEDERAL 4473 form...

As opposed to lying on the state form... So pick which poison you want to drink I guess. Maybe someone with better experience can comment here.

I told them I have used weed in the past during the interview. Then deputy asked when was the last time I used it, and I said over 10 years ago. It didn't seem to be an issue for me.

I'm sure having a card issued to you puts you on a list, then when you go to purchase a firearm they have their background check/ 10 day wait probably has you on a list even though they don't say that. It's California these pos's try and do everything. But maybe since it's medical related HIPPA comes into play? I don't know sorry

I didn't read if the card is still active. I mean do they expire? Do you renew them? One would think if you renew it it basically means you need it? Don't know much about that card

Like DK also mentioned I just went to tne lasd website and printed it out. Filled it out and went to get it processed at a local livescan business. I'm almost at 2 months since interview I'll probably go do my training within the next couple weeks also, that way when I get the email I can just submit it. Trying to reduce the wait time. 🤣

What happens if you miss the call to pickup?

Does anyone know what happens if you miss the call to pick up? Do they try calling again or send an email?
