finally got the elusive NO CALLER ID call today around 12:30pm!!! Picking up on 1/25... but my dumbass can't remember if the appt time was 10am or 11am lol... tried calling the CCW Unit # to confirm but nobody is picking up now lol

Also usually they do send confirmation email, which contains instructions on what to bring/etc, but it also contains date and time

ahh! that makes sense.. I did call after 2pm.. All the other times I've called were around 11am and they picked up both times.

How the heck y'all have your interviews in September just like me and I'm still waiting for my proceed to training email. So frustrating.
Congrats on the pickup date by the way!!!!

Got the call yesterday. Just over 12 months from start to finish.

My only hiccup was that may name isn’t on our utility bill, it’s my wife’s name. I brought this up during the calk to schedule interview. Deputy told me to bring a copy of marriage certificate to interview to include with my file.

Did training 5 weeks after interview… about 3 weeks before proceed to training email. No issues anywhere in the process. Very smooth, just a lot of patience in practice. Timeline below:

1/3/2022 - Application Delivered
3/21/2022 - Money Order Cashed
9/8/2022 - Call for Interview
9/13/2022 - Interview
9/14/2022 - Live Scan Submitted
9/14/2022 - Cleared State / Federal
9/18/2022 - Cleared Firearms
10/22/2022 - CCW Training
11/14/2022 - Proceed to Training Email
11/14/2022 - Documents Submitted
11/14/2022 - Documents Received Email
01/06/2023 - Received Call for Pickup

I also received my call for interview for next week. Quick question, can LASD see i had applied for LAPD in 2009 and Downey PD in 2018?

Reason for asking is I passed the application part both times and received email to continue with the process but due to my current job getting better i decided not to pursue both times. Wondering if that would look as a negative thing on my part?
