Someone I know who got training cert received email on 10/15 or 16 just got call today 12/22 to pick up 1/5. This is for LASD.

That's my same timeline, except I'm still waiting for the damn call for pickup lol. I'm off next week so that would be a perfect time. I should call them again today.

For the record, I and about 12 others in the initial 'batch' of applicants have been approved by Glendora PD and issued. Got my permit on 12/20/2022.
As of that date, there were 97 total applicants in the queue at GPD. ( I am surprised that number is not x4 or x5 higher ). My timeline was 9/12/2022 submitted application to Issuance on 12/20/2022. So was a little more than 3 months.

Been a long hard fight for me personally for something that ought not to have required anything at all. For any of us.

As far as I know, I was the longest one here who waited for "THE CALL". I submitted mine on September 1 and got the call on Nov 28th for pick up on Dec 1. The funny thing about it is that my letterhead of congratulation was dated Nov 1 so LASD does drop the ball sometimes, especially to the one who LASD emailed for additional documents. They did this to me and that is when I think they dropped the ball so get ready if you think they are taking their sweet time it would not hurt to email them about an update.

I waited over a year for my call to interview. Once I mailed in the application I didn't think about it because I knew the CCW Unit was going though a learning curve, refining processes and had a boatload of applications pending. It all worked out!
