GC color is also the California CCW color. The color means how much is your chance to get the CCW. Red is the top tier. If the GC is a business owner, then the color is Red.

Any of the more experienced folks have some time to review my Good Cause statement?

            Thank you!

I just called CCW unit and asked whether the reapply clock (1 year) starts ticking from application date or denial date, and was told that it counts from denial

That's only if you are reapplying with the same GC, right?

That he didn't say, but I assume if SCOTUS thing comes through, it would fall more into "Circumstances changed"

I definitely agree with that point. However I doubt they intended for a SCOTUS ruling when the letter was drafted so I took "circumstances change" to reference a change or update in your reason(s) for wanting/needing a CCW (good cause) and have been planning to resubmit end of Jan. or early Feb. since my "circumstances" have become far further elevated.

I have a standing offer to take a look and see if and how we can improve it. Take your best shot at a finished product and PM it to me.
I wish today's liberals could understand: You cannot be generous by giving away other peoples' money and you cannot demonstrate your virtue by your willingness to give up other peoples' rights.

The more time I spend on this forum, the more sense kcbrown makes.

If you're going to include that don't even bother applying.

If your GC circumstances have indeed changed, apply. At worse they tell you you have to wait until the required time has elapsed.

Considering that now it takes about 8 months to get to the review point, it could just make it exactly 12 months
