Ok thanks for that! looks like LA County is light green from the charts I saw, late nights finishing up paper work at my office (industrial area) then driving to my house in La Puente is my reasoning for a CCW, plus working on jobs in undesirable areas as well, often travel alone to Arizona on weekends, do I have a chance? thanks!

You're likely going to fall into dark green unless you can document cases of criminal attacks specific to your locale and fitting your specific work situation. If you've had any unpleasant encounters that could potentially help your case, otherwise, it will be a crap shoot. As far as traveling to Arizona is concerned, unless you're traveling with high value assets, again it's more likely to be a dark green than a light green GC.

That's what I did for my pick up call.

As many of you know, Eli Vera is running for LA Co Sheriff. The following was copy pasted regarding his stance on CCW issuance:

If elected as Sheriff, I will have the authority to issue Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) permits to citizens who can show good cause. I believe that if a law-abiding person is seeking a permit, can show proof of residence, has passed the background check and attended the proper training classes, then he or she should be granted one in a timely manner.

I negotiate stuff for a living. I could take 5 different positions off the top of my head from that statement. it is vague, I would argue intentionally, so, open to interpretation, and full of opportunities for a politician to later, "clarify", their position.

Lindsey said self defense =GC. AV is issuing to, I believe at least a handful of light green GC. I'll take that as opposed to the above.

I think is for every politician. However, AV did stand up and fight against the BOS and calls them out for what he believe should be fix.
