      Ok 1 million applicants. That's still 66 years. Renewals take just as long as initial if not longer. Read the other threads.
      ATF Form 4473: If a frame or receiver can only be made into a long gun (rifle or shotgun), it is still a frame or receiver, not a handgun or long gun.

        There have been rumors/rumblings that they are holding light green applications rather than denying or approving. That would violate state law which requires them to give you a decision within 90 days (or is it 60?) of getting back your live scan. Perhaps they are even doing you a favor by holding light green applications that they are inclined to deny pending the results of the SCOTUS decision, and then they will approve them all. Of course it does you no good to explicitly complain on that basis because if you insist on a decision, they can comply with an immediate denial.

        On one hand, they have been clear that they don't want people contacting them to check on applications, but on the other hand, we have had at least one poster here who contacted them after a long silence and it was clear that they had simply lost or forgotten about his application. Of course, if that has happened to you, the only way you would know or fix it is to contact them. If it were me, I would contact them and just make sure they are still at least aware and working on it.
        I wish today's liberals could understand: You cannot be generous by giving away other peoples' money and you cannot demonstrate your virtue by your willingness to give up other peoples' rights.

            You're just guessing what will happen if supreme court wins. Current data shows it will take 66 years to get or renew a license in LA county.

                  AV is supposed to be on KFI AM 640 tonight at 8:00

                  This would be a great question to call in and ask him, along with what his plan is if the decision comes down and eliminates good cause requirements.

                        MC, the statute concerning timelines for applicants to be notified is;

                        26205. The licensing authority shall give written notice to the applicant indicating if the license under this article is approved or denied. The licensing authority shall give this notice within 90 days of the initial application for a new license or a license renewal, or 30 days

                          OK, that is weird. Realtors face well documented business related risks. That ought to be almost a slam dunk. I have not heard of one being denied either in LA or San Diego since either Sheriff opened things up.

                            10k in 8 months would be a huuuge improvement.
