As the state assembly is back in session and with their last promise to pass the CCW reform, I bet this is why no CCWs are being issued. Agencies are dragging their feet and looking for cover under new restrictions from the state.

What happened to the Psych Eval requirement???

I just skimmed over the below linked pages and did not see any mention of an optional, much less mandatory, Psychological evaluation. Did Ahern drop that or is my memory mistaken?

has anyone added (and been approved for) multiple firearms? I'd appreciate some input, please PM me directly if easier.

I'm one of the selected training entities for Alameda, and we met with the Sheriff last week. For Alameda initial CCW you can have only one firearm listed on your license. Upon your annual renewal you can add a 2nd firearm. However, with one firearm you only need a 70% on the shooting qualification. With two firearms you have to score 90% with both firearms.
