I keep getting the pop-up message that I have a new PM. The only cure is to hit the refresh button on the browser in order for the software to realize that I already read the PM.

I too am seeing the mapping issues others have reported. Hopefully the artifacts I am seeing show up.

Also, the site works great on my phone while using cellular data however when I connect to wifi, I get the ? Calguns.net will be offline starting at 9pm Feb 28th. We are moving to a new web host. Will be back online Wednesday March 1st. Kestryll? message. I?ve cleared cookies and am not sure what else I can do. The internet provider is Comcast. Maybe an issue on their end?

You're wifi system and/or the upstream service provider could be caching the old DNS entries.

If its your equipment, rebooting it may solve the problem. If its Comcast, it will eventually work as the new DNS information gets propagated.

Kes...System not recognizing me. It looks like it is allowing me to login but goes back to login screen.

c'mon guys......i have been leaving feedback for help to log in several times. at least respond or say that you are seeing my messages. i have done everything on my end.....but trying to hack in the back door is getting old. please help.....i cannot log in the normal way.

In an effort to assist and not cause angst to anyone; my understanding to those mentioning log in issues:

COMPUTER BROWSERS - after entering user name and password, you should see the thank you for logging in ?user name?. The page then shows the main user interface home page, but does not show your logged in user name in the upper right hand corner of the page.
RESOLUTION - Press F5 or see link below for refresh. Go to any page in the forums and it should show your logged in in the upper right hand corner of the page.

RESOLUTION - just go to any page in the forum or click NORMAL VERSION in bottom left. Go to any page in the forums and it should show your logged in in the upper right hand corner of the page.


Anything not working as above will need assistance from the head janitor and may be unique on a person by person basis. There will be issues, there will be problems. Kes is one person and I would imagine he is trying to fix some of the issues that are affecting the larger population of people.

NOTE: as I understand, if you?re able to post here that you have a problem, you are logged in.

The email system is currently down until we update the DNS setting to the new host.
I spent today migrating all the email accounts and settings for the forum to the new server.
As far as I know this was the last piece and I'm waiting for confirmation that we're good to take that last step.

As of right now the forum is on the new server but the email is still on the old hosting account which is redirecting our name servers to the new host.

We will probably have about 24 hours of spotty connection while the new DNS settings populate through the internet.

The question mark issue is likely server side and being looked in to.
