Your first wedding is the most memorable.

    (It's just a joke.)

Just a suggestion when you distribute your invitation. It should say:

Your presence is the best gift you could give us on our special day, but if you prefer to give something else on this magical day, we prefer to have something light.

        OR

Your presence is the best gift you could give us on our special day, but if you prefer to give something else on this magical day, we prefer to have something that bangs.

It's your choice. It is your wedding afterwards. Congratulations.

Ooooohh..... don't forget the money dance.

          I've had two weddings.
          Both expensive.
          Both ended up in divorce.

          Keep your guns.

But then again, that's me. I wish you the best and a happy, full life with your husband.
          Congrats.

The idea is, that you get married ONCE, you have ONE wedding...do it the way you want. You can replace anyTHING but the memories. Have a wonderful life/wedding/future!

                Thanks everyone for the congrats.

I see a trend in this thread from men and women.......most women saying weddings are more important, and most men saying guns are more important. Now we all know why they say the wedding day is the brides day lol.

I found a buyer for my rifle. It is gone tomorrow

That's ok though because next month I will be a Mrs. and we have already started drawing up a list of the firearms we will be purchasing first.

AND my future hubby started work again today. So things are looking better. In the meantime, I will have a 1911 and shotgun to shoot, and friend's guns I can go out and shoot

RedFord150: guys on gun forums "socially challenged"?! that's an understatement, especially since they can't keep their mouths shut on the "ladies" forum. btw, i have a 1995 red ford 150......love that truck.

congrats to your daughter for going and having a great time!

wedding: so what's the update? some how i missed when its happening.....you will of course post pictures, right?

please don't stop posting, L! we've got your back. i for one am not above pushing back at the socially challenged nor am i above contacting a moderator if necessary. if we "ladies" don't stick together, the socially challenged will run us off calguns. personally, i'm too stubborn to let that happen. i would encourage you, however, to let a moderator know how you feel because i don't think they get enough feedback from women participants. actually, you could ask a moderator to just read this thread in which you have expressed your opinion already.........
"The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her own pantyhose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound."-- as seen on a t-shirt

Thanks for the kind words. My red F150 was a 1998 and was sold in 2008. My current F150 is a 2007 SuperCrew and is not red.
They are great trucks. This is why I bought a second one.

My daughter not only had a great time at the Prom, she also passed her driving test with only 2 points deducted. Thanks for mentioning.

Now please tell LuLu that RedFord150 also wants to see her Wedding Pics ;-).
