Exactly. For some people, getting married is a big deal. Some dream of having a beautiful dress, beautiful decor, and lots of beautiful sun. A handsome man to walk to, and etc.
Its a beautiful thing really. Cause ALOT of people dream of it their whole life. Nothing wrong with it. For others, a simple ceremony and etc is fine too.
Its just what that particular person wants. Its not the literal dollar bills that matter, its the quality and beauty, the attained and put together effort and end result/presentation, that matters. It just depends on the person. Please don't make it seem like something shallow. Getting married is a big deal, God involved and all. But some people envision that once in a life time chance to have everything so matched up to what theyve dreamed of, forever ago. To some it may not matter, to others, its everything, and only happens once.
It isn't that weddings HAVE to cost a lot. In fact, I got a great deal on my wedding. It is all personal preference. You don't want to have a big wedding? Then don't have one. It isn't your business if someone else decides to spend more then a few hundred on a wedding.
Would I mind having a more simple and less costly wedding? Nope. As long as my soon to be husband is there
But I got a good deal on my wedding, and was fortunate enough to have some help with it. Some unforseen events happened right before the wedding, and we dealt with it. Firearms are an investment. They hold their value. I will buy more later.
Oh yeah, even more crap happened. So 2 weeks ago (exactly) I had to put my 2 year old Doberman (Ares) down
I guess when it rains it pours! LOL

Just sayin'. Bad time to be disarming.
"Yeah, like... well, I just want to slap a hippie or two. Maybe even make them get jobs."
