    No more firearms

    I just have to vent.

So with my wedding right around the corner (July), and my wedding being very expensive, I have to sell my guns

I have already sold 2 handguns and now I am selling the AR

All I will have left is the 1911 and 12 guage shotgun.

I am very sad right now. I will be able to purchase more firearms after my wedding but it just sucks right now. I feel naked without my firearms.

    Thanks for reading my vent.....

      LOL I wish!

But my wedding is a complete package. So I pay one lump sum for the ceremony, reception, food, flowers, etc.

I will buy more guns again after my wedding....it just sucks that I have to get rid of the first guns I ever owned....

Personally, I'd rather not get married. Selling your guns should never be an option.

Ha! Definitely not ditching "the guy". He is a fellow calgunner as well so shame on you! Lol just kidding. We are both SAD that we have to sell the guns. But weddings are a one time magical event, and I am pretty sure guns will still be here in 3 months...so I am good! At least I will still have 2 guns to have fun with in the meantime.

Any way you can sell them to a trusted family member or friend and then buy them back after the wedding?

In that case, I'm thinking Las Vegas and an Asian Elvis. That way you get to keep at least one gun each.

I can't find someone who doesn't think the gun habbit makes me nuts. So he is very lucky man. Wish you both the best.

                            congrats re the wedding!

but it all comes down to priorities and if you really want the wedding you've designed and planned you have to do what it takes to make it happen. personally, i'd downgrade the wedding in order to keep fav guns........but then i never did want the traditional wedding.....

I have ALWAYS wanted the big wedding...before I ever liked guns.

Everyone has their own opinion. We love each other more then we love our guns

Plus, it is a good excuse to get even better rifles and handguns this next time around lol.

We already live together and have everything....so we are registering for a honeyfund where people give cash towards a honeymoon...we are downgrading our honeymoon so we have money left over for guns heh.
