Update on my visit to Turners Oxnard.
So walked up the counter and happened to be helped by the manager.
Handed him the paperwork and explained how we WISH we was there picking up a firearm. He explained that the SR22 had been dropped from the roster and that their inventory had to be shipped back to Ruger. He then mentioned it was due to Ruger making a change to the firearm.
He quickly offered to provide us with a complete and full refund (Including DROS) or to apply the $$ to another firearm purchase.
We chose to take a look at the Sig Mosquito, and the wife decided to go with it.
We had originally picked up the SR22 on sale for $329 and the SIG Mosquito was $359. Without asking, he matched the $329 price, drafted up the DROS paperwork, and few signatures later we shook hands and walked out. Not a dime out of pocket.
Have to say that im happy with the way they handled things. Looks like Turners will be keeping me as a customer.
