The guy at turners said that they'd handle the dros fee this time but I think that was bull, just one of those things sales clerks say.

I think I might wait it out, from all the research I've done the sr22 is worth the wait.
I think with the new "microstamping" rules in effect it may never come back on the roster if it has to comply with the new rules.

Got phone call from ruger said they changed the slide so California took off roster. Will keep production and selling to other states just not California she said. Couldn't give me an answer as to when will be fixed. I asked if month or 6 months and she said she didn't have an answer. Well m&p 22 next choice

It doesn't make sense for them to turn their back on their Ca. Customers how much are they going to loose when they start getting shipments of guns they can't sell in Ca. I have several Rugers but can't support a company that won't support me.

What changes to the slide did they make?

Not sure at work so couldn't talk long. Kinda frustrating as I have and love my other Rutgers, just gotta go different direction though. LaDy was nice guess she had no clue how long would take production to change for California

It already has the mag disconnect. I believe all they have to do is submit one with the modification to the state for testing.

Micro stamping might be true, but there's a bunch of guns that have recently been added to the list, sincere question.. are all of these guns micro stamped?

I agree with what you wrote. The question would be how long does doj testing and that whole process take.

I just heard from my supplier that Ruger was totally taken by surprise by this and is in process of investigation. They did not know why it was removed.

Good because m&p $400 at turners now. I'll just hold out until it goes on sale, or sr22 comes back to California. No rush as I can rent 22 At local range for free

I spoke with the manager at the Torrance Turners he said if I bring a printed copy of the Riflegear price he would honor it. $349 at Riflegear.

The managers at west Covina will honor the last sales price which was $329. Anytime I purchase there, they will give me the last sales price. Call to check first. YMMV but it is definitely not uncommon
