    Ruger SR22 Off Roster?

I saw this on the DROS screen today:

    NOTICE -- EFFECTIVE JULY 26, 2013
All SR22 pistols will be removed from the Roster pursuant to California Code of Regulations, title 11, section 4070, subdivision (c)(2).

The roster shows expiration January 2014.

    11 CCR 4070
    (c) A handgun model may be removed from the Roster for any of the following reasons:
    (1) If the annual maintenance fee is not paid as set forth in Penal Code section 32015, subdivision (b).
    (2) If it is determined that the handgun models submitted for testing were modified in any way from those that were sold after certification was granted.
    (3) If it is determined that the handgun is in fact unsafe based upon further testing.

    I wonder what they changed?

I was wondering if maybe it was number 3.

I purchased one last week and it is at my CA FFL right now. What does this mean for me?

I'll try to contact my local LGS tomorrow to find out what's happening. Since I'm due to pick mine up on Monday.

Supposed to pickup today, but had to work(damn it).
Turners called said could not pickup until ruger releases it (could be a week or months they said).

I think you lose since it doesn't show up as a pistol to select on the DROS screen anymore. Sorry.

I thought a handgun only had to be on the roster at the time of DROS submission.

So turners sent it to ruger and ruger is doing something to it? or did you mean you can't pick it up until the doj releases it?
