Gunbroker problems/advice

OP let us know what happens. This is all the seller's fault. You gave him THREE legal ways to get the gun to you and he refused them all.

1) Private ship to your CA FFL
2) Ship to your CA FFL from an FFL of his choice who will use CA CFLC
3) Ship to middleman FFL in another state, either privately or from FFL of his choice

You also checked with him before bidding.

There is nothing illegal in CA about a pump or semi auto shotgun with a pistol grip (unless semi auto has a magazine or folding/collapsing stock)

agreed 100% and we are dealing with a pump action with legal dimensions in this case. Thank you all for listening to my long windedness. I will update as this progresses.

Got response today from gunbroker. They say they can't force seller to sell. I am not liable for fees since I say I didn't break any laws.

I also looked at the claim against me and it is still there. It now says "credit issued". So to me it sounds like they sided with seller and let him get away with it. Also it no longer gives me a chance to respond to the claim. I don't like that it still shows "illegal to own". Like a stain on my record.

I responded to gunbroker asking to have the claim removed, so now I wait, again.
